A Bit About Me

Hey there — I’m Shan 👋
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet!

I’m a photographer who loves capturing the world as I see it — from nature and travel adventures to everyday candid moments. Interestingly, I was never formally trained in photography. My background is actually in Fine Arts (Digital Animation) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Somewhere along the way, I picked up a camera and never looked back. That’s also how the handle Art of Shan came about — blending my roots in art with my journey in photography. 📷✨

For me, photography isn’t just about gear or technical settings (though I do geek out over those sometimes) — it’s about telling a story, noticing details that others might miss, and freezing moments that deserve to be remembered.

When I’m not out chasing sunsets, plane spotting, or experimenting with new creative shots, you’ll probably find me editing over a good cup of milo, or planning my next trip with my camera in hand.

This site is where I share my work, my passion, and hopefully a bit of inspiration for anyone who loves seeing the world through a different lens.
